Unofficial reference · game v1.1.0
Every number, dated.
Most Farthest Frontier guides hand you a figure with no date on it. Some of those figures are from 2022. This site tells you, on every page, which version of the game the number describes — and where it came from.

113 technologies · 59 buildingsThe tool
Knowledge point planner
Knowledge points are finite and the spend is permanent. Set a budget, pick your technologies, watch the tier gates open. 142 points maxes the tree.
Current data
The technology tree
All 113 technologies with ranks, tier gates and effects — corroborated across two independent sources, and published as data nowhere else.
Why trust this
How old is this number?
The measured drift between the two public crop datasets: 34 of 55 values changed. Plus everything we could not source, listed rather than guessed.
The reference
59 entries
Build costs and worker slots
Costs, sizes, tiers and requirements. 51 entries come from pages last edited before 1.0 shipped, and each one carries that date in plain sight.
Freshness spine
Patch history
Every update from Steam's own feed, with released versions kept separate from announcements.
12 crops
Farming, honestly
Why we do not ship a crop-rotation planner, and what the public crop data actually says.
Production chains
What makes what
Resources with their recipes — the inputs consumed and the quantity produced per run.
The short version
Why another Farthest Frontier site
Because the public record for this game is older than it looks. The dataset behind every crop planner on the internet was dumped in September 2022 and never updated. The game has shipped 1.0, 1.1 and a DLC since. Nobody says so — so we measured it, published the diff, and put a date on everything we print.
What we will not do
Tools we deliberately did not build
A crop-rotation planner, a raider forecast, a disease model and a "how many do I need" calculator. Each one needs values that are not published anywhere for the current version. Shipping them on stale numbers would look authoritative and be wrong. The full list of gaps.
